Questions people ask

If your question is not here, ask us. No question is too basic — most of ours were.

What is security awareness training, in plain words?
It is practice at noticing the tricks scammers use, before they are used on you. No technical skill is needed — most of it is knowing when to slow down.
How does the training work here?
Pick a lesson, read the story or press play on a short video, and stop whenever you like. There is no account, no login and no quiz.
Is it really free?
Yes, for individuals, families, libraries, schools and community groups. Small businesses can pay for tailored sessions, and that is what keeps the rest free.
Do the videos play automatically?
Never. Nothing loads or plays until you press play, which also keeps the pages light on slow connections.
Are there captions and transcripts?
Every video has subtitles, and every lesson has a written version you can read or print.
How do I keep my phone or tablet secure?
Three things cover most of it: install updates when offered, use a screen lock, and turn on two-step sign-in for your email and banking. An older device is fine as long as it still receives updates.
What should I do if I think I have been scammed?
Phone your bank using the number printed on your card, change your email password first, and tell someone you trust. Acting quickly matters more than acting perfectly.
Is the children's content safe for classrooms?
Yes. There is no advertising, no sign-up and no tracking of children. Teachers can play lessons directly or hand out the printed versions.
How do partner integrations work?
Partners can embed lessons on their own site, hand out co-branded printed material, or host sessions with our facilitator notes. Nothing is locked behind a contract with us.
Do you offer compliance or audit help?
A light amount, for small businesses that need it. See the GRC services page.
